How AgentDeduct works
Short answers about the beta. For anything else, email [email protected].
How do I enter an expense manually?
Open the app, add an expense, and fill in the amount, date, and category. Add a vendor, a purpose, and the property it relates to if there is one. It takes about thirty seconds — the point is to capture it while it's fresh.
How do receipt attachments work?
Photograph the receipt and attach it to the expense record. The photo stays with the expense, so the proof and the context are never separated.
What is the business-use percentage?
Some spending is mixed — a phone used for both business and personal calls, for example. The business-use percentage lets you mark how much of an expense was truly business, so the record stays honest instead of all-or-nothing.
How does mileage documentation work?
Log each business drive with the date, miles, and business purpose — which showing, inspection, or client meeting it was for. Background mileage tracking is implemented but still in real-world testing, so for now the reliable record is the one you confirm.
What do CPA exports include?
Exports organize your saved records — expenses by category with receipts attached, documented mileage, and property-tagged items — into summaries your accountant can use. Exports reflect the records saved on that iPhone; cross-device sync isn't finished yet.
What are the current beta limitations?
AgentDeduct is early beta. Background GPS still needs real-world locked-screen and battery testing. Cloud backup and sync between devices are not finished — keep your own copies of anything critical. Voice capture exists, but full conversational AI is not live. Calendar and CRM connections are planned, not operational. Duplicate flags are advisory only; the app does not perform bank reconciliation. Tax estimates shown in the app are illustrative, not guaranteed results.
Still stuck?
Email [email protected] and describe what happened, including which device you're using. We read everything, though as a small beta team we can't promise immediate replies.
